The Tri-County Obedience Club sponsored a Dog Pal Party on Monday, May 18th at the Fairfield Community Center. The event was attended by approximately 25 to 30 people who participated in a variety of pet friendly games, along with their canine companions of course. Musical Spots (musical chair for dogs) and My Dog Can Do games as well as bobbing for carrots and digital photos were some of the fun events. There were door prizes, treats for dogs and their human companions as well as a raffle to benefit Paws for a Cause Pet Food Pantry.
The Tri-County Obedience Club is dedicated to promoting the training of purebred and mixed breed dogs by supporting and holding obedience and fun classes and hosting dog-friendly events. Another goal of the club is to promote good sportsmanship among its members in training and the exhibition of dogs and to educate all in responsible dog ownership through training, health care, and safety.
